Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat has threatened to fire members of the Hitorerut faction of his coalition if they do not withdraw the petition they submitted against him in court.
The faction members had petitioned the court claiming that the mayor is ignoring the needs of the secular residents of Jerusalem for political motives.\
Barkat in turn accused them of a political motivated petition designed to get them more votes in the coming election.
