Feiglin: Israeli apologies an ongoing disgrace

Former Knesset Member Moshe Feiglin said on Tuesday that the Israel Defense Forces announcement that it did not intend to liquidate the terrorists who had entered the destroyed Gaza terror tunnel on Monday was part of an "ongoing disgrace". The chairman of the Zehut party said Israel not only destroyed the tunnel but its deterence, noting "As in the case of the Mavi Marmara flotilla, or the scandal of folding on the the Temple Mount mangnetometers, the destruction of the tunnel is also developing rapidly into an event in which Israel apologizes for daring to defend its sovereignty."

Feiglin continued, "All that remains is to apologize for our very existence, and like the Marmara - to pay compensation to the families of terror leaders. Why not? After all, they already receive cash, electricity, water, medical care and boarding school universities." He concluded, "The strategic goal is not the tunnel in Gaza or the reactor in Iran, but the heads of terror here and the regime there. They are the enemy, not the tunnel. Anyone who has no identity and no direction - is incapable of knowing who his enemy is. No matter how strong and sophisticated he might be - he will never win and will always invite the next round."
