On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Be'er Sheva from the Ottoman Empire by forces from Australia and New Zealand, the streets of the city were partially blocked this morning. They are expected to reopen around 14:30.
Among the blocked streets are: Rambam, Eli Davis, Henry Kandel, Asaf Simchoni, Hativat Hanegev, Herzl, Hechalutz, Hahistadrut, Mordei Hagetaot, Trumpeldor, Shloshet Bnei Ein Harod, Beit Eshel, Keren Kayemet Leyisrael, Ha'atzmaut, Yitzhak Sadeh, Hagar, Hanokem, Maccabim, Bar Kokhba, Gershon, Yair Stern and Hadassah.
