Chairman Naftali Bennett of the Jewish Home Party expressed surprise Tuesday morning at the Israel Defense Forces' announcement that there was no intention of assassinating senior terrorists during Monday's blowing up of a terror tunnel that originated in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, in which two senior Islamic Jihad commanders were killed.
The minister noted that the purpose of the tunnel was "to kill Israeli women and children." He added, "We must not apologize for success in eliminating terrorists."
