The police have announced that an evidentiary infrastructure has been found against Deputy Mayor Shimon Sher of Netanya and eight businessmen suspected of bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
According to the suspicions, they promoted the interests of contractors and businessmen for years in return for the transfer of funds directly to nonprofit organizations linked to Sher. The police have transferred the file to the Economic Department of the State Attorney's Office for review and decision on whether or not to prosecute.
