Security officer Aryeh Itach of the Ashdod municipality has been acquitted of all charges eight years after complaints of sexual harassment were filed against him by three women who worked for the municipality.
The retired colonel already won three years ago, but the prosecution appealed, and this morning, he won again. The court held that the complainants' testimonies were not credible and even raised the suspicion that they had been coordinated in advance. Throughout the years, Itach claimed that this was a false plot that had been made against him, after he had passed incriminating material against the three women and senior municipal officials.
