Gunfire was heard inside the Iraqi Kurdistan Parliament after protesters - some of them armed with clubs - stormed the building on Sunday evening, according to Reuters.
They were responding to the resignation announcement by President Masoud Barzani. The protesters claimed they were Peshmerga Kurdish fighters.
