Minister of Housing Yoav Galant said on Sunday that there is money for the security components and bypass roads demanded by the heads of local government in Judea and Samaria. Speaking to bereaved families in a protest tent near the Prime Minister's Residence, he said, "As a brigade commander and division commander in Judea and Samaria for years, I can say that we have become very sophisticated in recent years, and everyone understands the problem and from the defense perspective, the rule is to act correctly so what you are describing are the things that must be found to give more and this will save more people. It's all about how to transfer the money and we'll find the way."
A member of the political-security cabinet, Galant added, "The point is clear and one thing must be clear: When dealing with the fight against terror, there must be intelligence, an attack, and certainly defense components... The resources are divided according to the considerations of the system, and I will be a mouthpiece for you regarding all that is needed."
