An indictment was submitted to the Lod District Court against the two terrorists who murdered Reuven Shmerling HyD(may G-d avenge his blood) on the eve of the Sukkot holiday in Kafr Kassem.
Interrogation by the Shin Bet revealed that the two, residents of Kabatiye in Samaria, decided to perform a stabbing attack and kill Jews for nationalistic motives after their friend, Ahmed Abu Al-Roub was killed during a stabbing attack at the Jalama (Gilboa) checkpoint and in response to events at the Al-Aqsa mosque.
