The government approved the appointment of Yulia Shamalov-Berkovich as director of the Second Television and Radio Authority.
Communications Minister Ayoob Kara said that the government had unanimously supported his proposal to appoint Shamalov-Berkovich, a former Kadima Knesset MK , to the position and wished her luck in splitting up the commercial channels, slated to begin November 1st.
