Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke at the weekly cabinet meeting regarding the visit of Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, in which he will mark 100 years since the liberation of Beersheva by Australian and New Zealand forces.
Netanyahu also referred to his forthcoming visit to London for the 100th anniversary of the Balfour declaration and said he would conduct meetings with Prime Minister Theresa May and foreign minister Boris Johnson, as well as corporate leaders in Britain whom he will try and encourage to invest in Israel.
Netanyahu referred to the anticipated budget surplus in 2017 and said that "we must continue to direct the economy responsibly and carefully."
