The Binyamin regional brigade was established 30 years ago in the wake of the outbreak of the first intifada. The brigade has dealt with numerous operational challenges over the years as well as with terror attacks and unceasing battles against Arab terror.

The brigade marked 30 years with a festive ceremony at Beit El attended by Binyamin regional council head Avi Roeh, Central Command head Roni Noma, Judean Division head Eran Niv and other senior officials.

Brigade commander Yuval Gez said that the brigade had been "unified and strengthened by the flames of battle." He added that "it is a privilege to be a part of the Binyamin family, to fashion history in the past and present and to protect this region while serving the country."
