Defense Minister Liberman has directed the ministry's legal advisor to investigate the possibility of demolishing the homes of terrorists who attacked and wounded Israelis. The present policy allows for the demolishing of houses of terrorists who murdered Israeli citizens.
Liberman said that since demolishing terrorists houses has proved an effective deterrent, "I believe we need to demolish the houses of those terrorists who attacked and severely injured civilians. I don't distinguish between an attack which unfortunately ended in murder and one in which Israelis were seriously injured, in both cases the houses should be demolished."
