Minister for Social Equality Gila Gamliel(Likud) expressed her support Thursday for the struggle by Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria to receive allocations to improve infrastructure and broaden construction in the region.
Gamliel said that "Judea and Samaria are an integral part of the state of Israel. It is the obligation of a nationalist government to settle and build in all parts of the country and to allow its citizens infrastructure, roads and transportation," Gamliel said.
Gamliel welcomed the prime minister's allocation of 800 million NIS for improvement of road infrastructure in Judea and Samaria but said that "this is only the beginning. We need to ensure that these decisions are implemented and ratified by the government and included in future budgets."
