The Leftist movement Peace Now came out against the 'Greater Jerusalem Law', which would apply Israeli sovereignty over all towns and villages in Greater Jerusalem, including the Gush Etzion communities.
"This right-wing government continues to destroy the two-state solution and abandons the future of Israel under the guise of preserving the unity of Jerusalem," the group said in a statement. "This bill will make it very difficult for any future peace deal with the Palestinians".
