The official value of the shekel rose an average of .304 percent on Monday against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.491, down .057 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .505 percent to 4.1002 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.5974 shekels, up .227 percent. The Canadian dollar fell 1.039 percent to NIS 2.7631.
