The Israel Defense Forces' Apache helicopter fleet is gradually returning to operational readiness, after two months in which it was grounded, following the helicopter accident in which Major David (Dudi) Zohar was killed and another pilot was injured.
The gradual return of the flight began today after implementation of the recommendations of the interim report on the investigation of the accident. Air Force Commander Amikam Norkin took part in the first training day of the Apache squadrons.
