Official sources in the Trump administration have told Channel 2 Television that the intention of the United States negotiating team on the Middle East is to put forward a proposal for a comprehensive regional agreement that will bring Arab countries to the table and aspire to normalize relations with Israel.

Departing entirely from plans of previous administrations, the proposal will be open to negotiations between the parties and the Americans: Washington has no intention of conveying an "all or nothing" "take it or leave it" message. The sources make it clear that the president and his team intend to "be quick and sharp," but do not intend to set an artificial timetable for talks.
