Palestinian Authority residents have petitioned the Supreme Court against the establishment of the Samarian Jewish community of Amichai for Jews evicted from Amona. They have also requested an interim injunction that will prevent the continuation of the work.
The petitioners claim ownership of the lands of the new community by virtue of inheritance, and that the subcommittee on objections did not relate to all the proof of the ownership presented to it. The petitioners criticize the working procedures of the "Blue Line Team" which deals with the marking and demarcation of the boundaries of the declaration of state land.
