The Department for the Investigation of Police in the State Attorney's Office has filed an indictment in the Jerusalem Magistrates Court against 49-year-old Border Police officer and a female defendant for fraud, breach of trust and other charges.
On several occasions, the female sought to pass through the Tunnels checkpoint at the southern end of Jerusalem with acquaintances from the Palestinian Authority. According to the indictment, the policeman helped her with the passage of the acquaintances through checkpoints without checking and in violation of the requirements, due to his relationship with her.
