MK Merav Michaeli responded to the growing furor over her remarks last month in Australia in which she called the nuclear family "extremely dangerous to children". According to Michaeli, her words were edited and misunderstood.
"All the things that I am accused of, such as demanding a license for aspiring parents, monitoring parents, removing children from home and raising them in hands of the state are things that I never said or even thought ... They are hallucinations, lies that have been spread to scare you away from me," she said.
