American author George Saunders on Tuesday won the prestigious Man Booker Prize for fiction for his book Lincoln in the Bardo.

Saunders was awarded the £50,000 prize by Prince Charles’ wife, Camilla, during a ceremony at London’s medieval Guildhall.
