Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) welcomed the approval of construction of 300 new housing units in Beit El.
"I'm happy about the approval of marketing in Beit El, the government has fulfilled its moral obligation to the residents of Beit El by adding 300 housing units. Beit El residents deserve this after 5 years of waiting. The community has continued to develop and this will provide a solution for the younger generation.
"I hope that today's decision will lead to construction and will end the continued freeze. The prime minister's promise is slowly being fulfilled, even after five years it is right to fulfill promises."
