At about 12:40 Monday evening, a distress call was received from a surveying vessel that was near a ship which supplies natural gas to the Israel Electric Corporation.
An electric company security boat at the scene quickly reached the vessel, which had begun to sink. The security team safely rescued the two men from the sinking ship and transferred them to Nahal Hadera.
