Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked spoke Monday at the "Capitalism and Fairness" conference initiated by Erez Tzadok.
"The public sector in Israel is very cumbersome and regulatory measures are required to simplify business in Israel, both in the private sector and in the public sector. An example of this is the government decision passed yesterday, which significantly simplifies the appointments process," Shaked said.
Minister Shaked also mentioned the difficulty of integrating different populations in the justice system: "We are about to choose two more justices for the Supreme Court. I wish I could choose an haredi judge - the process is still long, but the day will come."
