The Environment Ministry and the JNF have completed a program to install particle filters in Tel Aviv dump trucks.
The new filters will allow for a 98% reduction in particle emissions.
50% of Israeli garbage trucks defined as polluting the environment have the new filters installed. The Tel Aviv municipality installed them in 30 trucks, ensuring that there are no more polluting trucks in the city's garbage truck fleet.
