Police investigate and intelligence work has led to the arrest and indictment of Ahmed Salah, a 19-year-old resident of Qalqilya, on charges of car theft from Moshav Kidron.
The indictment states that burglars came to a house in Moshav Kidron, broke the locks and the living room window, entered the house and stole car keys and other property. They then stole the car, neutralized its location system and parked it in a Lod carpark.
The accused came to the carpark in order to take the car. After he began driving he was stopped by police who were watching the car.
Salah was indicted on charges of car theft, driving without a license, driving a car without insurance and entering Israel illegally.
