Former head of military intelligence Amos Yadlin spoke this morning in an interview with Israel Defense Forces Radio about the possibility that United States President Donald Trump would cancel the nuclear agreement with Iran, ahead of Sunday's deadline for a decision.

The director of Tel Aviv University's Institute for National Security Studies said, "We must ask ourselves - what is the alternative to an agreement, and if it is to be canceled, when is the right time." He added, "In dealing with a nuclear-armed state, there must be diplomatic strategies, sanctions and a credible military option."
