Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara visited a Golani training base on Monday afternoon. Among the soldiers they talked to was Private Binyamin Burns, a lone soldier from South Africa, who came to Israel to serve in the army.
Private Burns put the Netanyahus on the phone with his mother. The prime minister told her, "You have a great son," and "you're a great, courageous mother." Mrs. Netanyahu added, "I admire you for being such a courageous mother, to let your son to come to be a lone soldier." The prime minister concluded, "We're very proud of him and of you."
