Relations between the United States and Turkey continue to deteriorate. The US has stopped issuing visas to Turkish citizens following the arrest last week of a local employee at the embassy in Ankara of suspicion of association with exiled cleric Muhammed Fethullah Gülen - who lives in the US - accused by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of being behind last year's failed coup.
Turkey responded with a similar move - and in the afternoon issued an arrest warrant for another American worker for an unknown reason, according to Reuters.
