The Nature and National Parks Authority said on Monday that about 100,000 people visited national parks and nature reserves in spite of the first major rain of the season.
The weather was responsible for the closing of some trails and the cancellation of activities, including the cliff trails of Mount Arbel and the ancient times festival at the Caesarea National Park. Other parts of those facilities remained open.
