Social Welfare Minister Katz has promised Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that he will look into continuation of the "community absorption model" project next year and has asked to receive additional budgeting for the project, for immigrants from France and Ukraine.
Last week, Arutz Sheva reported that at the end of the current year, the project, which has been implemented by the Ministry of Welfare since 2015, will come to an end and not be renewed. In this situation, thousands of new immigrants from France who receive French services in the fields of welfare, old age, handicaps, etc., most of whom do not speak Hebrew or have difficulty understanding the language, will remain without proper response from the authorities.
