The Tel Aviv District Court convicted the former director-general of the teacher's union, Yossi Wasserman, on three counts of fraud and breach of trust as well as harming others privacy, disrupting legal procedures and harassing witnesses. The conviction is based on his confession in a plea bargain agreement.
Wasserman was convicted of exploiting his power in the teachers union and with other related parties and of receiving benefits such as partial funding of personal vacations.
