Following Spain's refusal to allow Catalonia to hold a referendum on independence, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan published a sharp post on his Twitter page claiming that the hypocrisy of the Spanish state has been revealed.
Rabbi Ben Dahan said, "For many years, Spain has preached to us to grant rights to the Palestinian Arabs. Today its hypocrisy is exposed when it does not even allow a referendum on independence for the Catalonians."
