Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority continues to refuse to stop paying money to convicted terrorists and the family of terrorists who died in action.
In an interview with Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Abu Mazen said: "Israel incites the US to see prisoners and martyrs as terrorists. They are fighters and our people ... and they are martyrs of the Palestinian people, and since then (1965) we have given them (and their families) allowances."
