MK Nachman Shai (Zionist Union) said that Interpol deciding to accept the Palestinian Authority as a member is "a stinging slap in the face to Israel."
Shai added that "all the theories we have about our international standing getting stronger have collapsed like a house of cards. It is clear that the two-state solution cannot be postponed forever, it is the only solution accepted by international public opinion."
