Regional Cooperation Minister Tzachi Hanegbi will head the Israeli delegation to the annual meeting of the Forum of Donor Countries to the Palestinian Authority, to be held Monday in New York.
The forum was established in 1993 under the leadership of Norway, and since then it has been taking place alongside the UN General Assembly in September in order to strengthen the capacity of PA institutions in civilian areas. Israel is asked every year to detail its plans for cooperation with the PA and to inform its participants of its vision of strengthening PA residents' ability to conduct their own lives.
