The Supreme Court judges discussed a petition by the Reform Center for Religion and State and by the Gay Fathers association to allow same sex couples equal status regarding the adoption of children.
The state replied to the petition that it also agrees that there should not be descrimination but the matter requires legislation , and added that a draft of such a law will be submitted by the middle of 2018.
The court therefore advised the petitioners to remove their petition due to the "change in the state's position on the matter."
