Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu responded on Tuesday evening to remarks by Major General Yair Golan who said that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) is not a terrorist organization.
"Israel opposes the PKK and regards it as a terrorist organization, unlike Turkey, which supports the Hamas terrorist organization. While Israel opposes terrorism, it supports the legitimate efforts of the Kurdish people to achieve a state of their own,” the Prime Minister said.
