Rabbi Shimon ben Eliyahu, the brother of former Israeli Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, has passed away in Jerusalem.
His funeral will take place this afternoon, starting in the eulogy hall of the Har Hamenuhot cemetery in the Giv'at Shaul neighborhood.
