Syria’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Faisal Mekdad, on Sunday threatened Israel with “appropriate steps” following an air strike last week attributed to Israel.
"It will pay a heavy price for the attacks,” Mekdad said in an interview with the Al-Mayadeen TV network, as quoted by Israeli media.
