The memorial plaque in memory of Danny Gonen, murdered by terrorists near the community of Dolev in the Binyamin region, has been vandalized for the third time.
Gonen's mother, Devorah Gonen, says that the continued vandalizing demonstrates that "the state of Israel has decided not to win. If somebody vandalizes once and sees that its accepted and then does it again, this sends a message that they can ruin things and we will just exchange them."
Gonen wondered what would happen if Jews destroyed an Arab memorial. She said that "they would make every effort to find the criminal, as this is a criminal act. So why now don't they do the same? Because we are used to it."
