The Movement for Governance and Democracy has congratulated Member of Knesset Nurit Koren (Likud) on her decision to abstain from the vote which elected Justice Esther Hayut as the next president of the Supreme Court.
The movement wrote to "It is appropriate that an elected official not cooperate in a place where his position is to serve as a rubber stamp." The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel had similar praise.
