Treasury Minister Moshe Kahlon announced that 12,000 new housing units will be released for lottery Sunday night.
"The lottery will provide a solution for most of the participants of the initial lottery who did not get an apartment at a fair price," Kahlon said, adding that "certain interested parties recently made unprecedented attacks on the program. Those parties do not want young people to have apartments or they want them to pay ridiculous prices. Those parties enjoyed huge profits over the past years by exploiting the needs of young couples."
