Shomron regional council head Yossi Dagan called on government ministers to correct the infrastructure plan which discriminates against Judea and Samaria.
Dagan said that "The initiative to improve infrastructure in Israel is welcome. However the way it is presented could turn residents of Judea and Samaria into fourth-class citizens and leave the region behind the rest of the country in infrastructure development and we cannot agree to such a thing.
"Judea and Samaria represents 30% of the State of Israel and 10% of its citizens. It is unthinkable that when infrastructure is approved Judea and Samria's portion should be measly in comparison to its size. We demand a renewed examination of the plans and to prevent its authorization until it is corrected."
