Germany has rejected a request by the Turkish government to freeze the assets of Turkish opposition leader Fethullah Gülen.
Gülen is accused by the Turkish government of planning a revolutionary attempt last year. The German authorities rejected the Turkish request, claiming that there is no legal rationale for freezing Gülen's assets.
