During an operation of the Israel Defense Forces in the village of Al Umari, near Ramallah, a violent riot broke out in which about 200 Palestinian Authority residents burned tires and threw stones at the forces.
The soldiers responded with crowd dispersal measures. There are claims that several rioters were injured and evacuated for medical assistance.
