Inspectors from the Nature and National Parks Authority have rescued a winter hawk that was kept illegally and under harsh conditions in the yard of a house in Jerusalem's Beit Safafa neighborhood.
The inspectors found the bird of prey in serious condition and in a cage originally intended for pigeons and chickens. The case is under investigation.
