The outgoing Chief Medical officer of the IDF, Brigadier-General Dr. Dudu Dagan and MDA director-general Eli Binn have announced their mutual cooperation in a new program between the Medical Corps and the IDF. IDF medical staff will be invited to join the project "Life Guardians" at MDA which will increase the chances of saving those suffering cardiac arrest. The goal of the project is to enable those who have medical training to gain first aid training which will help provide initial attention to cardiac arrest patients before EMT's arrive.
