Elor Azariya, the soldier convicted of killing a terrorist after he was prone, submitted a public declaration in the wake of the letter he sent to the Chief of Staff requesting a mitigation of his sentence.
"I am going to jail with head held high," said Azariya. "If I had known that the terrorist did not have a bomb, I wouldn't have shot."
